About the Opportunity
With the approval of the Government of the Punjab, the School Education Department intends to hire School Teacher Interns (STIs) for the period w.e.f. 03.11.2026 to 31.05.2027 in the public schools under its administrative control, in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

Procedure for Hiring

Interested male and female candidates may apply online for the desired position through the STI Portal (link) latest by 18.10.2026 (Sunday) up to 11:59 P.M.

The merit list will be displayed on the notice board of the concerned school on 23.10.2026 (Friday).

Grievances shall be redressed by the Tehsil-Level Committee constituted by the concerned DEO from 26.10.2026 (Monday) to 27.10.2026 (Tuesday).

Interviews of shortlisted candidates will be conducted from 29.10.2026 (Thursday) to 30.10.2026 (Friday).

The final merit list will be displayed on the notice board of the concerned school and on the STI Portal at 10:00 A.M. on 31.10.2026 (Saturday).

Letters of Agreement to the selected candidates shall be issued through the STI Portal on 02.11.2026 (Monday).

No TA/DA shall be admissible to the candidates.
Important Note

These positions are purely for a fixed duration and shall not, under any circumstances, be converted into regular appointments.

However, upon successful completion of the engagement period, School Teacher Interns (STIs) shall be awarded a Completion Certificate.
