Important Instructions & General Conditions

1. Age Relaxation: No further age relaxation is allowed beyond the prescribed limit, except for candidates belonging to scheduled castes and Government Servants / WAPDA / DISCOs employees who have completed two years of continuous Government / WAPDA / DISCOs service on the closing date of application - age permissible up to 43 years.

2. Eligibility: Only citizens of Pakistan are allowed to appear in the test. Only shortlisted candidates falling within the merit as per the applicable Recruitment Policy will be called for interviews.

3. Application Scope: Candidates from all over Pakistan shall be eligible to apply.

4. Contract Terms: Candidates will be recruited / appointed on contract with a lump-sum pay package for a period of five (5) years, extendable on satisfactory performance. The services of these contract appointees will not be regularized in future at any stage.

5. Result Card / Transcript Requirement: Candidates possessing Result Card / Result Card containing CGPA / CGPA evaluation must acquire their Result Card / Transcripts with marks in percentage from respective recognized Universities before applying.

6. Computer Skills: Complete knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Windows, Internet & email is required. Good written and oral communication skills are also required.

7. Government Servants: Serving candidates in Government Service are advised to apply through proper channel and must provide a Departmental NOC at the time of interview, clearly describing the date of appointment and nature of employment (Regular / Contract / etc.).

8. Duties: Candidates may be required to perform duties within the jurisdiction of GEPCO.

9. Eligibility of Candidates: Only those candidates who possess the required qualifications are eligible to apply. Candidates to whom final transcripts, degrees, domicile, and other certificates have not been issued as on the last date of submission of applications - or candidates awaiting their results - are ineligible to apply.

10. Incomplete Applications: No incomplete applications or applications containing incorrect information will be entertained.

11. Testing Authority: The test will be conducted by NTS (National Testing Service), GEPCO.

12. Original Documents: Original documents along with attested photocopies must be presented by the candidate at the time of interview.

13. Contact for Queries: Candidates may contact NTS for information regarding roll number slips, display of provisional & final lists of candidates, test date, test time, test centers, etc.

14. Disqualification: Concealment or misrepresentation of facts at any stage will lead to disqualification of the candidate from the current recruitment process and from all types of tests conducted by GEPCO for recruitment in future.

15. Right to Modify: GEPCO reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts as per requirement at any stage without assigning any reason.

16. Mobile Phones: Mobile phones will not be allowed in test center premises.

17. Disqualification of Employees: Dismissed / removed employees of any organization or those having a record of being ineligible for employment in GEPCO are not eligible. The submission of the character and antecedents of the candidate for the appointment shall be mandatory.

18. Legal Jurisdiction: Any litigation pertaining to recruitment tests conducted by NTS will be dealt with by NTS.

How to Apply

1. Apply Online: Applicants are to apply directly on the NTS website: www.nts.org.pk. By hand, postal, or any other mode of application will not be received by GEPCO or NTS.

2. Test Fee: The test fee for the said posts is Rs. 540/-. However, in accordance with the Division, 50% of the test fee shall be borne by the candidate and the remaining 50% shall be borne by GEPCO. Accordingly, candidates shall submit a duly completed application form along with the prescribed fee of Rs. 270/-. The remaining 50% (Rs. 270/-) shall be paid by GEPCO directly to NTS in accordance with the terms of the agreement.

3. Disabled Candidates: No test fee will be charged from disabled candidates. As a matter of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), 100% of the test fee shall be paid by GEPCO directly to NTS as per agreement.

4. Fee Payment Methods: Test fee shall be paid to NTS through United Bank Ltd (UBL) - ATM, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Easypaisa, JazzCash, or TCS Express Counters.

5. Roll Number Slip: Detailed information regarding the last date of submission and test date will be uploaded on the NTS website at least one (01) week before the test date, and candidates will be informed through email address, SMS, or mobile number provided by them.

7. Last Date to Apply: The last date to apply through NTS is 23/10/2026. The Online Applications Hostel closing date is 23/10/2026 for the receipt of applications at 11:59:59 p.m.

8. No Direct Applications: No application shall be entertained by GEPCO. Hence, candidates are advised to send their complete application form directly to NTS.

9. Separate Application: A separate application must be submitted if applying against more than one post.
