ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

The Office of the Chief Engineer Sukkur Barrage, Left Bank Region Sukkur, Government of Sindh, invites applications from eligible candidates having domicile of District Sukkur for the following vacancies in the Irrigation Department, as per the qualification and experience indicated against the post.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION / ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent from a recognized university/institute recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC)

• OR Diploma in Information Technology (DIT)

Experience Requirement

• At least 01 year of experience as a Data Processing Assistant

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Application Submission: Applicants who fulfill the requirements should apply for the aforementioned vacancies on the Sindh Job Portal, Government of Sindh, at: https://sjp.gos.pk

2. Screening Test: Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Graduation Category with at least 40% marks, conducted by IBA Sukkur Testing Services (STS), and must possess its certificate issued by STS as required for appointment to the aforementioned post.

3. Age Calculation: Age of the applicants shall be calculated from the closing date of submission of application as provided under Rule-7 of Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rule, 2024. However, the upper age relaxation limit will be five (05) years as provided in the notification of Services General Administration & Coordination Department bearing No. SOII (SGA&CD) 564/2011 (Part-II) dated 6-3-2025.

4. Reserved Quota: The share of quota reserved for initial appointment shall be adhered to as per law/rules/policy of the Sindh Government.

5. Government Employees: Applicants already in service should get NOC from his/her respective department prior to submission of application and bring the original NOC at the time of interview before the Departmental Selection Committee.

6. Interview Requirements: Applicants should appear before the Departmental Selection Committee along with original documents for interview as per the schedule to be uploaded on the job portal.

7. Shortlisting: Only eligible/shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.

8. TA/DA: No TA/DA is admissible to the candidates for interview.
