GOVERNMENT OF SINDH - INFORMATION DEPARTMENT

POSITION VACANT

INTRODUCTION

Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Male/Female) having Domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Sindh Province for the following vacancies in the Information Department, as per Qualification and Experience indicated against each post, within fifteen (15) days of publication of this advertisement.

3	Photographer	10	01	21	28	i. Graduation at least in 2nd Division or equivalent CGPA from a recognized Board of Education. ii. 06 months to 01-year Diploma in Photography. iii. 01 to 02 years' experience in handling Digital / HD Cameras and photography/Archiving.
4	Calligraphist	08	01	21	28	i. Intermediate at least in "C" Grade from recognized Board of Education. ii. Having at least 02 years' experience in Calligraphy, art, pasting, publication.
5	Assistant Cameraman	07	01	21	28	i. Intermediate at least in "C" Grade from recognized Board of Education. ii. Having at least 02 years' experience of Video Recording of Old and New Digital / HD System archiving / Preserving and other related techniques/process etc.
6	Dark Room Attendant	05	03	18	28	i. Matriculation at least in "C" Grade from recognized Board of Education. ii. Having practical 02 years of experience of photography, developing and printing of films.
7	Telephone Operator	05	01	18	28	i. Matriculation at least in "C" Grade from recognized Board of Education.
8	Electrician	05	01	18	28	i. Matriculation at least in "C" Grade from recognized Board of Education. ii. Having practical 02 years of experience in relevant field with certified Electrician Course.
9	Junior Clerk	05	15	21	28	i. Graduation at least in 2nd Division from any University recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC). ii. 06 months' Certificate Course in MS Office from an Institute recognized by Sindh Board of Technical Education / Trade Testing Board.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Application Submission:

   • Applicants who fulfill the following requirements should apply for the aforementioned vacancies on the Job Portal of Government of Sindh at: http://sip.gos.pk

2. Testing Requirement:

   • Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test of Bachelor, Intermediate & Matriculation Categories, with at least 40% marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) and possess its certificate, issued by STS, as required for appointment to the aforementioned posts.

3. Age Calculation & Relaxation:

   • Age of the applicants shall be calculated from the closing date of submission of application as provided under Rule-7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024.

   • However, the upper age relaxation limit will be 5 years as provided in Notification of Services, General Administration and Coordination Department bearing No. SOII (SGA&CD)564/2011 (Part. 11) dated 06.03.2025.

4. Pension Scheme:

   • The candidates after appointments shall be governed by the "Defined Contribution Pension Scheme 2024".

5. Reserved Quota:

   • The share of quota reserved for initial appointment, including 15% Women Quota, 5% Minority Quota, and 5% Disabled Quota, shall be observed as per the Law, Rules, and Policy of the Government of Sindh.

6. Government Servants:

   • Those applicants who are already in Government Service should get NOC from their Department prior to submission of application and bring the original copy of the NOC at the time of interview for submission before the Departmental Selection Committee.

7. Appointment Policy:

   • The appointment shall be made as per the Policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26-04-2023 and under the provisions of Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973/74 and its Rules, as amended from time to time.

8. Interview:

   • The applicants should appear before the Departmental Selection Committee along with original documents for Interview as per the schedule to be uploaded on the Job Portal.

9. No TA & DA:

   • No TA & DA will be admissible for Interview.
