1. Job Summary & Purpose of the Advertisement

The District Health Office (South) Karachi is inviting applications from qualified and eligible candidates for initial recruitment/appointment against various vacant posts ranging from BS-01 to BS-04. This recruitment drive is specifically open to candidates who hold a domicile of District South, Karachi. The positions are purely temporary and subject to government service rules.

3. Terms & Conditions / General Instructions

Candidates are required to carefully read and comply with the following instructions:

1. Application Submission: Applications must be submitted to the Office of the District Health Office South, near Navy Height, Old Kalapul, Karachi.

2. Required Documents: Each application must include:

   • Two (2) recent passport-size photographs.

   • Attested copies of educational qualifications.

   • Attested copy of CNIC.

   • Attested copy of Domicile/PRC.

   • Required experience certificates (if applicable).

3. Deadline: Applications, along with all requisite documents, must reach the office within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Late submissions will not be entertained.

4. Eligibility: Candidates must fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria for the post they apply for. Documentary proof of relevant experience or certificates must be provided.

5. Shortlisting: Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.

6. Age Relaxation: A general relaxation of five (05) years in the upper age limit is admissible as per Government policy (Notification No.SOII(SGA&CD)5-64/2011 (Part-II) dated 06-03-2025).

7. Quotas: Quotas for women, minorities, differently-abled persons, and transgender persons shall be reserved in accordance with Government rules and policy.

8. Government Employees: Candidates already serving in Government service must apply through the proper channel.

9. Disqualification: Canvassing in any form or manner shall result in immediate disqualification.

10. Vacancy Variation: The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the Competent Authority. No candidate shall have any right to challenge this decision.

11. Temporary Appointment: Appointments are purely temporary and subject to the provisions of the Sindh Service (Appointment, Promotion & Transfer) Rules, 1973, including the prescribed probation period.

12. TA/DA: No TA/DA (Travel Allowance/Daily Allowance) will be admissible to candidates appearing for the test or interview.
