Applications are invited from male and female candidates having Punjab Domicile for appointment against the following Non-Teaching posts on contract basis for initially one year (extendable on performance basis). Last date for submission of application is 10-11-2026.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE/RESEARCH

1. REGISTRAR

Option A:

• (i) Ph.D. or FCPS or MS or MDS or MD in any discipline after MBBS or BDS or equivalent qualification from a university or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

• (ii) Ten years' relevant experience in a medical college or teaching hospital or an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

OR

Option B:

• (i) M.Phil. or MPH or MBA after MBBS or BDS from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

• (ii) Twelve years' relevant experience in a medical college or teaching hospital or an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

OR

Option C:

• (i) MBBS or BDS from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

• (ii) Fifteen years' relevant experience in a medical college or teaching hospital or an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

OR

Option D:

• (i) M.D. or M.Phil. after MBBS or BDS or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

• (ii) Ten years' experience as a Registrar (B5-20) or Additional Registrar (B5-19) in any public or private sector university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

OR

Option E:

• (i) Eighteen years' service (second division) from an institute or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

• (ii) Fifteen years' qualification experience in administration or management in a university or a Government Department or an autonomous body in B5-17 and above qualification.

2. CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATION

Option A:

• (i) Ph.D. or FCPS or MD or MS or MDS after MBBS or BDS or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

• (ii) Ten years' teaching or administration or examination branch experience in an institute or a board or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

OR

Option B:

• (i) M.Phil. or MPH or MBBS or BDS or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

• (ii) Twelve years' relevant experience in a college or teaching hospital or an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

OR

Option C:

• (i) MA or MSc or MBA or MCS or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

• (ii) Fifteen years' experience in B5-18 or above in an examination branch of an institute or a university or board recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

3. DIRECTOR (QUALITY ENHANCEMENT CELL) (B5-20)

Option A:

• (i) Ph.D. or FCPS or MS or MD or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

• (ii) Six years' relevant experience in a medical college or teaching hospital or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

OR

Option B:

• (i) M.Phil. or MPH (second division) or equivalent qualification after MBBS from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

• (ii) Six years' relevant experience in a medical college or teaching hospital or university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

OR

Option C:

• (i) MS in Total Quality Management or any other relevant qualification from a university or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission; and

• (ii) Ten years' relevant experience of working at different management positions.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Applications will be made according to university Rules and latest guidelines issued by the Government of the Punjab purely on merit.

2. Final appointment will be subject to the verification of educational degrees & experience certificates (any discrepancy in this regard will be borne by the selected candidate).

3. Five years relaxation in upper age limit will be allowed across the board. However, female candidates will be given 08 years relaxation as per government notification No. SORI (S&GAD)5-26/31, dated 21-02-2023.

4. Applicants having Punjab Domicile are required to submit their application on the prescribed Proforma available at the University website i.e. http://rmu.edu.pk along with attested copies of documents, degrees, certificates, CNIC, domicile and 02 fresh passport size colored photographs.

5. Applicants applying for more than one post should submit separate application form with necessary documents, complete in all respects. Please clearly write name of the post applied for on the right side of the envelope.

6. Application Proforma should be completed, filled and submitted in the University office (Room No. 3M, RMU New Teaching Block, Rawalpindi (near Holy Family Hospital) along with a bank draft/pay order of Rs. 2000/- in the favor of Vice Chancellor, RMU, Rawalpindi.

7. PM&DC/PMC/HEC/PEC registration certificate of experience following the eligibility must be attached with documents. Experience should be counted from date of awarding required qualification/degree.

8. The applicants having foreign degree must have recognized by HEC/PM&DC/PMC/PEC.

9. All Testimonial degrees must be recognized by PM&DC/PMC/PEC registration Certificate.

10. Candidates who are already working in Government/Cont Government/Autonomous bodies should apply through proper channel.

11. Only short-listed candidates will be called for interview.

12. The Competent Authority reserves the rights to increase or decrease the number of posts.

13. The Competent Authority may cancel the recruitment process at any stage.

14. Incomplete application forms will not be entertained.

15. No TA & DA will be allowed.

16. Last date for submission of applications is 10-11-2026.
